About

Founded in 2019 by Galip Volkan Babacan, Lottus in Design is an interior
architecture studio dedicated to creating contemporary and user-centric
environments. With 16 years of professional expertise in interior architecture
and a published thesis on space design (ISS interiors), Galip brings innovation
and global perspective to every project.

Our portfolio spans a diverse range of sectors including residential, healthcare,
office, and educational facilities where we develop bespoke solutions that
seamlessly integrate functionality with refined aesthetics. At the core of our
design philosophy lie simplicity, technical proficiency, and spatial integrity.
We aim to craft spaces that are lean yet powerful, serene yet characterful.

From material selection to spatial organization, every stage of our process is
prioritized through the lens of the user experience. Our specialized expertise in
healthcare design is highlighted by flagship projects such as the Ortopediatri
Pediatric Orthopedic Academy in Fulya, along with specialized urology, pediatric
endocrinology, and dietetic clinics in Atasehir.

Alongside an extensive record of domestic residential, kindergarten, and office
projects, our firm continues to carry out work on an international scale. The
completed villa project in Germany stands as a clear reflection of our global
design reach and vision.
